The Ozzie Gladwin is a unique 26km one-day canoeing race that is an important seeding race for the Dusi Canoe marathon.
It consists of four kilometers of flat-out racing across Albert Falls dam, then a testing one kilometer portage around the dam wall, and a 21km river section on the Upper uMngeni that includes the Albert Falls Weir and The Cascades, and finishes up with three kilometers of testing rapids into the finish at Thornvale Farm.
